Back in 2002, I fell in love with art dolls. They were more than just dolls, but too much fun to be put in the “fine art” category.  There were only a handful of books on the subject at the time, but I am forever grateful for talented instructors like Susanna Oryoyan to lead the way. Her books had invaluable instructions along with beautiful, glorious, inspirational pictures. Soon, I learned how to sculpt and  develop my own style. Ironically, that eventually led to me actually selling them at those fancy “fine art” shows! They sold out, too. 😉
